The Baloise Color Run is fun. Lots of fun. To take part, you have to follow two rules: wear a white T-shirt at the start. And at the end of the 5 km run, the T-shirt must be as colorful as possible.

How does it work?
After registering online, you can pick up your “starter kit” on Friday or Saturday before the event. In the starter kit, you will find a white T-shirt that you have to wear during the Baloise Color Run, your race number and a few gadgets. It's best to pick up your starter kit in advance (you'll find out where on our website in good time). That way, you won't have any stress on the day of the Baloise Color Run. If you need to, you can pick up your personal starter kit in the morning before the race by showing your ticket. In any case, bring your ID with you to prove your identity.
And off we go to the festival grounds. The party starts here at 11:00 a.m. The first start is at 12:00 p.m. – we only let 300 Color Runners on the track at a time so that you have enough time to get really colorful in the Color Zones. After about 10 minutes, the next 300 Color Runners will start until the last of you have started in all white. The last start is around 2:00 p.m.
There is a “Color Zone” at every kilometer of the running course, where our volunteers will throw color at you. You will pass through four Color Zones in total and should cross the finish line as colorfully as possible.
Of course, we save the best for last: together with all Color Runners, we celebrate the highlight of the Baloise Color Run with our DJs and colorful throws of paint - the “Finisher Festival”!

Rule no. 1: Young or old, fast or slow – everyone is welcome to join us.
Rule no. 2: A white T-shirt is a must.
Rule no. 3: Your goal is to arrive in the finish zone as colorfully as possible.
How does the color powder work?
Each color zone has a different color. As soon as you run through the color zone, you will be pelted with colorful powder. Our helpers at the color zones will make sure that you don't escape the colorful experience and that you cross the finish line in maximum color.
Our color is a purely natural product and poses no risk to your health. You can even eat the color powder if you want. We have already tried it, but cannot recommend it - who likes to eat dry corn flour?
What happens on the festival grounds?
The highlight of the Baloise Color Run is the Finisher Festival on the festival grounds - with cool DJs, the best music and fantastic, colorful color throws. At certain intervals, the countdown to the next shared color experience begins - all Color Runners meet in front of the stage and throw the color powder into the air when they shout "3,2,1 - Go!" You can be sure: goosebumps are guaranteed!
