T-shirts are a must. Where you want to place your Color Run™ tattoos is up to your imagination.

How do I get my starting number?
All Color Runners receive their starter kits before the race. In this starter kit you will also find your personal start number.

The tickets will be sent to you by email immediately after you have completed your registration. Please also check your spam folder in case they have ended up there.

Where and how can I pick up my starter kit?
You should pick up your starter kit on Friday or Saturday. This will save you the stress on the day of the event.
When can I pick up my starter kit?
Friday and Saturday before the event:12:00 - 18:00

Will I get my entry fee back if I cannot participate?
Unfortunately not. It is not possible to withdraw free of charge after registration. Please understand that due to the high logistical and organisational effort involved in the Baloise Color Run, we cannot refund entry fees without exception. Please make sure that you can really take part before you register. If for some reason you are unable to participate in the Baloise Color Run, you can transfer your starting place to a friend until 08.09.2025. Please note: Your friend will NOT take over your old price! If the original registration and the transfer take place at different price levels, your friend will have to pay the current price.
Your friend has to pay for their ‘new’ registration themselves, but we will refund your entry fee after they have registered. If you are unable to participate for medical reasons, please send us an official medical certificate by 8 September 2025. In this case, we will refund your entry fee minus a processing fee of €12.

Do I have to be an experienced runner to participate?
No, you don't have to. For us, it's all about having fun and enjoying the event - without time or pressure to perform. You don't have to prove anything to anyone. The runners of the Color Run™ are just as colorful as the run itself: from young to old, from slow to fast, parents with children, grandparents with grandchildren, friends, colleagues, neighbors - really everyone!
Our goal is to bring people together who want to share an unforgettable experience.

How exhausting is a Color Run™?
Again, with the Color Run™ you don't have to prove anything to anyone or overexert yourself. If you want to run fast, run fast. If you want to walk, that's allowed too. It's all about having fun.

Is the Baloise Color Run time-limited?
There is no time measurement in the Baloise Color Run™ and therefore there is no time limit for when you cross the finish line. The main thing is that you arrive very colorful.
Can I participate with a stroller and my children?
Unfortunately, strollers are not permitted as the route is very narrow in places. But you are welcome to bring your kids with you! Children under 6 run for free!

Can I bring my dog?

Unfortunately not, dogs must stay at home.

Is there an age limit for younger Color Runners?

No, kids under 6 can run for free, but they still have to register. No ticket - no participation!

How strict is the white dress code at the start of the race?
Let's put it this way: yellow on yellow or blue on blue doesn't really look spectacular. The colors look best on a white T-shirt. That's the whole point.

Can spectators enter the festival grounds and participate in the festival?

Absolutely! From 11 a.m. the festival grounds are also open to spectators. We have plenty of paint bags available. The rule is: first come, first served! But you should warn them that they will not leave our finish festival colorless.

Is the color dangerous?

The color powder is 100% natural, namely corn flour, and the color that is added to the corn flour powder is pure food coloring.
Will the color powder ruin my clothes or shoes?
After the event, most of the color will evaporate. If there are small residues left on your clothes or shoes, it's best to wash them quickly. We recommend wearing clothes and shoes that you can imagine being bright and colorful. A tip from us: If you want to keep the color in your clothes for a longer period of time, spray them with vinegar and iron them before putting them in the washing machine.

How does the color powder at the Color Zones affect vision and breathing?
Our paint at the Color Zones is made from corn flour and food coloring, making it edible and 100% natural. As with any substance, you don't want it in your eyes. Some Color Runners therefore wear glasses of some kind and use a cloth or face mask to breathe. In addition, our helpers do not aim at your face when you pass through a Color Zone.

Are cameras and cell phones safe in the Color Zones?
We recommend that you put a protective film on your camera or phone or put it in a small sealable bag. Just to be on the safe side.

Is there a cleaning area at the Finisher Festival?
We have some strong guys with leaf blowers at the finish line who will really blow you through. After the "dusting" you won't look 100% clean, but you will be clean enough to drive home.

How do the color throws work at the Finisher Festival?
At our Finisher Festival, the Color Runners throw paint into the air every 15 minutes to welcome new runners. You will receive your paint packet immediately after crossing the finish line. More can be purchased at check-in or at the finish. Always remember: whoever throws first stays colorful longer!
How does the color affect the interior of my car?
We recommend protecting your car seats with a piece of fabric. Foil also works.

How does it work with the teams?
You can register as a team for the Baloise Color Run with your friends. To do this, you must put together a team of at least 4 runners. As a team, you will receive a discounted price per starter. The entry fees for all team members must be paid by the team captain when registering. You can register your team with up to 30 team members in the online ticket system. If you want to put together a larger team, please contact us at hello@thecolorrun.lu
What is the difference between an individual runner and a team of 4+ starters?
After you have registered yourself and your team, you run with your group (the smallest team starts with 4 runners). Feel comfortable, run together and help each other to become the most diverse team over the 5 kilometers.

Of course not. You only register together for the Baloise Color Run. Some teams run the 5 kilometers together, others split up during the run. It's up to each individual.
Can we put our team name on our white shirt?
Of course! As long as the t-shirt is white at the start of the Baloise Color Run, you can be as creative as you want with the team name on your t-shirt. But you must not paint over the sponsor's logo (they help put the whole event together, after all).
